Healthy BMI On The V3 Diet

What is BMI?

While dieting with V3 , you may wonder exactly how much weight you need to lose. Is there a certain weight range you should fall into? Sure. Your BMI score determines how close you fall to your ideal weight.

BMI stands for Body Mass Index and is simply a measurement of your body fat with respect to your height and weight. It is actually a person’s body weight divided by the square of his height multiplied by a conversion factor or:

[Weight (lbs)/(Height (in))2 x 703]

Although your BMI score is usually a fairly reliable method to determine if you fall within your ideal weight range, some perfectly healthy athletic people with more lean mass than the average person may fall into a range which deems them unhealthy and overweight when in fact the opposite is true. But for the average person using the BMI method will work just fine. To see if you have a healthy BMI score you would plug your height and weight into the formula. Then compare the resulting number to the chart below.
